The 10" x 38" softener bottle gets installed in the truck and will soften the incoming water before entering the fresh water tank. This system is rated to soften 32,000 grains hard per gallon per charge. Once it has lost its charge, it will need to be manually regenerated by connecting hose and fittings to the 11" square x 32" high brine tank that is left in the shop or garage. This process takes approximately 30 minutes.
